Pump service and fault finding
Use changes in measured condition to separate hydraulic, mechanical and electrical faults. Confirm the cause before choosing a repair or replacement.
Condition and intervals
Follow the equipment-specific maintenance schedule and compare trends in flow, pressure, power, vibration, temperature and leakage. Lubrication and seal work depend on construction; a maintenance-free bearing claim does not remove the need to inspect the installation.
From symptom to evidence
Low flow can result from blockage, air, incorrect speed or rotation, changed system resistance or wear. Noise can be hydraulic or mechanical. Record when the fault appears, measurements and control settings; a symptom list alone is not a diagnosis.
Repair and spare parts
Identify the serial number, execution, part code and drawing position. Check material, fit, seal faces and elastomers rather than outer size alone. After repair verify assembly, alignment and the operating baseline; a replaced seal does not resolve an unchanged suction problem.
Replacement and records
Compare the required current duty with the original selection before repeating an old model. Keep inspection, repair and test records together with manuals and drawings. Warranty coverage, authorised service and supplied documents must be confirmed for the actual transaction.
